REC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM- south SD
The Rec developmental program. It's designed to give all children from 4-12 years old with inexperience or beginner level the opportunity to build a solid foundation in technical development and learning rules of the games in the very early years of playing and enjoying the game of soccer.
The Rec program consists of 6 sessions throughout the year (Winter, Spring, Spring II, Summer, Fall, & Fall/Winter) with each season consisting of 8 training weeks with 6 weekend soccer Matches. Our goal is to teach children the fundamentals of soccer while having fun plus play the beautiful game on weekends at an affordable price.
Rec Development Program Yearly Calendar:
Winter = JAN 12 - MAR 7
Spring = MAR 9 - MAY 2
Spring II = MAY 4 - JUN 27
Summer = JUN 29 - AUG 20 - No Games on Weekends, only developing training.
Fall = AUG 24 - OCT 17
Fall/Winter = OCT 19 - DEC 19 (No Practices & Games on Thanksgiving Week)
Our coaching staff is licensed and experienced. We strive to develop our coaches as well as our participants in an effort to export more soccer coaches to our community. Our goal is to continue growing and teaching our youth the fundamentals of the game. As the child shows improvement and developing, they will be move to our competitive team level to compete in the local SoCal soccer League.

Online Registration Steps
Step 1: Complete and submit the Rec Development Registration Form using the link below.
Step 2: Submit payment via one of the following methods:

Please note: Registration will only be finalized and your child’s spot secured once both the form and payment have been received.
Early Bird Offer $15 per child from 04/13/26 to 04/19/26 - Regular Fee Registration from 04/20/26
Late Registration from 05/03/26 - Includes $15 late fee. Deadline Registration 05/09/26
CANCELLATION REQUESTS
Rec Development cancellation requests submitted by the following dates will receive the corresponding refund:

Fourteen (14) or more days prior to the start date: 90% refund of the registration fee

Seven (7) to thirteen (13) days prior to the start date: 75% refund of the registration fee

On or after the program start date: No refund will be issued
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to the Executive Director, Ramiro Perez, at gefc2018@gmail.com
EXCEPTIONS TO THE ABOVE:
If a player/member suffers a properly documented season injury during practice or weekend game and would like to request a refund, written proof of injury must be submitted within 3 days of the injury. A pro-rated refund will be calculated based upon the date of the injury and the Rec Development Season (defined below).
SEASON DEFINITIONS:
Rec Season begins on the date of the first training day and ends on the date of the Saturday last game.
